Release planings of the new album
”LEAN BACK RELAX AND WATCH THE WORLD BURN”
is looking just great and the date for the releaseparty is set to April 5:th.

Tomorow we start shooting the first video for the album.
As many of you know Jens Westin of CORRODED (länk) makes a guest performance on the album on the song EIGHTIES which is a cover song of Killing Joke classic from 1984. And it is THIS song we are about to film as a first video. (original video at bottom)
Jens will spend the saturday with us in Man.Machine.Industry. We have chosen to "copy" some of the scenes of the original video such as Jens role in it but we have added a story that contains these items below:

We are now, finaly, starting on editing the new video
TO A BLOOD RED SKY which we will release in the fall of 2012!

We have editied a short behind the scenes film where you can folow us and see how it all went down.. Ronnie Nyman of Always War made a guest performance on the song and video as well as 15 invited fans and friends. It sure as hell was a blast shooting it all and you all have nothing but our respect!
Special thanx to Martin Larsson who filmed the behind the scenes footage and did some interviews.

Hey ho metal heads and x-mas maniacs.

Hope x-mas has been great and that plans for new years eve are going as should.

FINALY the mix of our upcoming album
"LEAN BACK, RELAX AND WATCH THE WORLD BURN"
that will see the day of light is feb/marc 2012 is mixed.
Now the hardest task remains....
to choose which 11-12 track of the 15 recorded that should be on the album.

Yesterday we visited Mr: Zoomlander at 13 Roadkills Production to check out how the work with the DVD that will be included on the album (limited edition) was coming along and FUCKING HELL it looks awesome. He have done an amazing job and no one will be disaponted. Looks fucking great.

Now we are editing video blog nr 6 that will be postet on our You Tube channel later tonight.

A WHOLE LIVE SHOW UP NOW!

A small surprise for you fans out there.
Back in 2009 when NAIL and DNA still was in the band we filmed a live show supporting DETATHSTARS at Sticky Fingers in Gothenburg.
The date was on Nov 9:th and it was an amazing night.

We did an awesome performance and Deathstars was killer as well.
Our friend and film producer/editor Janne Taminen flew in from London, where he was stationed back then... now he lives in fuckin Hollywood the bastard, and filmed the entire show with a bunch of cameras. He got help by our roadie for the evening, Nicklas V. Grebius. A tall but fairly nice guy, haha.

We also did a cover version of a Metallica classic at this show...

We are working hard on the new album
LEAN BACK, RELAX, AND WATCH THE WORLD BURN
Due to be released February 2012.

On our previous album White Trash Devil In a Jesus Christ Pose (2010)
we had a guest performance by Patrik Wirén (Misery Loves Co) who delivered Almost Gone

and on the new album we have invited another guest singer to perform
a cover song with us. "Eighties" by Killing Joke from 1984.

The guest this time around is Jens Westin from heavy rockers CORRODED
whom have had lots of success with their track Age Of Rage and their tour with Avanged Sevenfold.

J.Bergman says:
"I got the material the other day which Jens had recorded at their studio and
after only a few notes of the first vers I got goose bumps up my arm and neck.
In my opinion Jens is one of the best hard-rock/heavy metal singers out there.
He has got a big voice that gets under your skin and straight into ones heart.
Its an honor for us to have him on the album and we have always liked
having a few guests on our albums. It makes it more fun and exiting working with the material it self."

Another guest who apears on the album is Ronnie Nyman of Swedish hard-core band
Always War that apears on the song To a Blood Red Sky splitting the vocals with J.B.
To a Blood Red Sky will be released as the first video/single from the album i January 2012.

A short update on whats going on...

Only 5 songs left on the vocal recording. It sounds pretty damn awesome and none of you will be disapointed on the new album. Its all there. The heavy crunshin guitars, the stomping drums, the distorted bass and the angry yet melodic vocals and the machines.

NEW BASS PLAYER?
Finaly we are gonna try out a new bass player whom we think can match the original bass player NAIL who sadly had to leave the band almost a year ago. The dude trying out is a friend of ours and we wish him all the best of luck on tusday and hope that he will make it through the songs.

GUEST VOCALIST ON THE ALBUM DUE TO BE ANOUNCED!
Hell yeah! Tomorow ROCKNYTT.NET will anounce who the secret guest vocalist is that will be performing this albums coversong. He has a truly great singing voice and have made a kick ass job on the song.
We beleive you will be somewhat surprised coz he doesnt belong in the genre Industrial Metal as our last guest, Patrik Wirén (on the White Trash Devil album on THIS song) from Misery Loves Co did.
But none the less, this dude has one of Swedens best rock voices out there. No doubt about that.

FUN BITS FROM THE HALLOWEEN SHOW

You might wonder how it went on the Halloween cruise? Well check this out.
It was loads of fun but even more hard work coz we had the documentary filmer Sulan Von Zoomlander from 13 ROADKILLS PRODUCTION documenting our every step for the upcoming DVD. By judgeing of the material we have seen it looks fuckin awesome, so its gonna be a great DVD for you all.

The show was also filmed by Brendan Morse but not without some technical problems Im afraid. We had some problems with the vocals and on top of that J.B got real sea sick (no pirate there) just 5min before the show. He managed to do the show good but after he had to lay down on the floor the rest of the trip, haha.

We all (Car Crash Jim, J.B and Thomas) also took the time to get a new tattoo by Zoi Tattoo whom also was on the cruise working.

MMI, TRANSPORT LEAGUE, SKITARG, ONE HOUR HELL on a compilation CD

Good morning freaks!

Some news on whats going on:

JIM BERGMAN got hit by a car while walking about a week ago. The car thew him over and he pased out and awoke in the hospital. He is doing fine besides a broken ribb and some inner bleeding that he had to go under surgery to stop. (article in Swe here) The police officer on the site said that he was lucky. Aparently Jim was close getting trapped under the car and if he did things would have been a lot worse.
Jim has not been able to rehears with us infor the Halloween gig we got coming up next weekend (www.rockbitchboat.com) but says he will be fine and strong for the show, so dont worry.

FIRST TASTE OF THE NEW ALBUM IS OUT. We got offered to apear on a compilation CD for Barncancerfonden (children cancer found) (swe article here) that we couldnt refuse. There for we desided to release a ”pre-preoduction” of the song ”TO A BLOOD RED SKY”. The song is the one where we invited fans and friends to sing on it and also hosts a guest apearance by Ronnie Nyman of ALWAYS WAR.

The album is called "Drop A Tone Vol.1" and other bands that show their support to the children in aid are TRANSPORT LEAGUE, ONE HOUR HELL, SPITCHICK, SKITARG, DEGRADED and others.

WTF! LETS RELEASE A DVD AS WELL!

BLOG IN SWE HERE

Hey ho freaks and metal heads.

We have been locked inside studio Killing Machine all weekend and so far 3 songs w bass, drums, guitar are done and about 10 more songs to go.

Last week we had a meeting with our record label, GMR Music in STHLM and made some plans for the future. The album is due to be released February 2012 and, get this, in a limited edition it will contain a DVD as well as the CD. Cool huh?! The DVD will only be in PAL format so its only for Europe Im afraid though.

The way it looks like now the album will host about 12-13 songs and the DVD will have some videos + some live clips on it. The live clips will be filmed at our last show for 2011 at the halloween cruise ROCKBITCH BOAT 2011. So see to it that you get your ticket to the cruise and kick ass in the front row to get your face on the DVD.

These change of plans have led to that the video/single "TO A BLOOD RED SKY" will be released in January in stead of Dec.
But mabe we will release some behind the scenes material before the actual video comes out if time is on our side.

Hope you all are excited infor this coz we sure as hell are. Its gonna be an awesome album with lots of cool stuff on both CD and DVD.

Nope. We have not gone and died on you. We are only busy with the recording of the new album.
But we did manage to get some time of to edit another video blog for you.

The other day we visited our "partners in crime" at ZOI TATTOO i Gamla Stan (old town) STHLM.
There we got a warm welcome by Mike Gargano, Robin Sjunnesson (Sonic Syndicate) and the tattooartists Mårten and Ellen who inked and inked and inked. The location of the shop was great so if you ever visit Old Town (Gamla Stan) in STHLM you def should check it out. Right across the street one you will also find sthlms best record stores, Sound Pollution.

Ronnie did an amazing job. Fast and brutal as always.
Sat at 12 00; Fans and friends started showing up outside the location and I belive it stoped w about 17 people screaming their lungs out on the song and in the video.

Sat evening; Waiting for the cab that will take us to the gig with RAUBTIER, Highride and Twins Crew at a charity consert called ROCK 4 CHILDREN arranged by Världens Barn (They are soon having another charity event with Clawfinger, Blindside and Scarpoint Check it out HERE)

Today we start filming the first video/single from the up coming album

that is due to be released towards winter time.

and we are glad and proud to anounce that Ronnie Nyman of the hard core band ALWAYS WAR
out of Uppsala will make a guest performance on the song and video spliting the voc w/ J.B him self.

Today we focus on filming the clips on the band and an intro to the video.
Tomorow we are getting fans and friends joining up in the video AND doing back up voc for the song on the album as well. There will be about 20 fans/friends in the studio.
It´ll be fun as hell and we are realy looking forward hanging out with you all.

VIDEO BLOG NR 2 UP NOW !

Hello metal heads.

First of all we had a blast at Ingbofestivalen where we got the chanse to hang out with our pals in Sour System, Lucy Seven and Loch Vostok. We sure as hell had an awesome time and we see each other way to little you maniacs.

Part TWO of the video blog is now up (part 1 here) In part two you can see Mattias "Hellcore" Johansson of Ninnuam (ex Centicore) making a guest performance with us screaming his lungs out to the classic Killing Joke song The Wait.

Now Jim and J.B continues to record the guitar for the up coming album and on sept 3:rd we share the stage with swedish industrial heads RAUBTIER (for a 3rd time). The special thing about this consert is that its a charity event arranged by the organisation Världens Barn (Children of the world).

GOD DAMN we are tired today.
Yesterday we played Pretzeltown Festival in Södertälje at 14 pm and then Kajrocken Festivalen at 7 pm. This is how it went down:

09 30 wake up call and hit the shower, Draged our tored asses to Pretzeltown Festival to go on stage asap with our stand in bass player David ”The German” of Brainchild

Time to go on stage and rock. And of coz we did a great job. Was real nice taking a break from the recording of the new album. Sweeeet.

After the show we rigged it all down and ate some pizza.

Beforre heading of to the next gig we took a few pics w some fans. Edde and his buddy The Drummerboi.
At the next festival, Kajrocken, we met up with Matte ”Hell-Core” of Centicore / Ninnuam who was about to do a guest performance w us and also the host of this night sleep over.

Then we kicked ass again at 7 30 pm and Mr Hell-Core made a great job on stage performing the classiv Killing Joke song The Wait with us. (video on that coming up later this week)

Centicore did a great show as well as Mr: Hell-Core´s other band Ninnuam.Then we went home to Hell-Core´s place to get some well deserved and needed beauty sleep. Thomas got to sleep in the bed that suited him the best. haha.

We had an awesome time w two gigs in one day and lots of new fans. Thank you all ! You rule !

a cover song with us that we sometimes play live just for the hell of it.

REACHING 600 000 PEOPLE

Hey metal heads.

I guess many of you are now in Gothenburg getting ready for the BIG 4!

You lucky bastards. We are at home creating songs for the new album...

Not bad I guess but some good old thrash metal would be nice to see live, haha.

This past Friday, July 1:st, we had the opportunity to be in a big ass

commercial in the Swedish news paper Göteborgsposten reaching over

600 000 Swedes around the Gothenburg area.

The commercial spot, covering a full page, was in a special edition of the newspaper

in for the Iron Maiden concert the same day.

Special thanks goes to Matthias Beckman and Martin Larsson we got this amazing

opportunity to be seen. Thank you !

The work on the new album is coming along great and we hope to present one

or two new songs on our upcoming shows (check live dates to yer right).

Some short updates on what is going on right now:

We have added two shows to our live dates on the right ----->
Kajrocken, 6 Aug, Katrineholm. A two day festival (5-6 aug).
We have also got another fetival date coming up soon.

The other show added is for the Halloween party taking place
on a 40 hour cruise, Sthlm-Riga, with 30 bands among others:
Engel, Amaranthe, Skitarg, Sister Sin, Degraded and lots more.

INFO ON THE NEW ALBUM

Hey there freaks and beasts.
As you know we are working hard on the new album and below you can read the official press release sent out by our management. READ IN SWEDISH ? -----> ROCKNYTT.SE.

MAN.MACHINE.INDUSTRY IN THE STUDIO
MMI have resently started working on their fourth album.
The album will future the new members
Jim Bergman on guitar and Thomas Manell on drums.
Jim will also co-write some songs with J.B for the album and this is the first time
ever J.B lets someone else in on the writing for MMI.

MORE MELODIC YET HEAVIER
Their latest album "White Trash Devil In a Jesus Christ Pose" (GMR Music 2010)
got some pretty good reviews and the band will do all they can to follow up with a great album.
So far four new songs are in progress and it seams heavier and at the same time more melodic than before.

ALBUM THEME
The theme of the album will take on the classic theme of "the end of the world" inspired by
the documentary "Aftermath: Population Zero".

J.B says:
"I have always wanted do make an album on the End of the world theme.
I grew up listening to much of the Bay Area Thrash metal style during the 80s to bands such as
Testament, Megadeth and Nuclear Assault and they often had songs on that theme way back then
and today the issue is eaven more important than ever."

The album will be released fall 2011 and is to be titled:
LEAN BACK... RELAX... AND WATCH THE WORLD BURN !

J.B says this on how the title came up:
"I read an interview with Gary Holt of Exodus when
they asked him what he thought about the green house effect and the polution of the world.
He said something in the style of;
- Well, what can we do?
Its already too late if you ask me so why dont just "lean back and whatch the world burn".
I had allready been thinking about the theme and his words just came at a perfect time."

is cancelled due to some private problems in the Sonic Syndicate camp.

GOD DAMN we had a blast at the show last friday.
Thank you Richard at Live Nation and Peter Andersson at Close-Up Magazine
for getting us that gig and thank you Tim and the rest of Dr.Midnight & the Mercy Cult for a great show.

So, last night was the debut gig for our new drummer boi

Thomas “T-Machine” (or Mr Candy Shaker) Manell when

we played as support act for ENGEL at Garage, Märsta, SE.

Thomas did a great gig, as we all did, and we are SO proud to

have him as a full member of “The Machine”.

And I believe he, and Misha “Snippan” Sedini (bass), was extra glad for

the bottle of Smirnoff and beers Engel gave us back stage…

Thomas is not so happy about that today though, haha.

Thank you Mangan and the rest of Engel for your hospitality and

we´ll see you on May 28:th when we play Klubben, Sthlm when

Engel, Sonic Syndicate and man.machine.industry hits the stage.

NEW DRUMMER IN MAN.MACHINE.INDUSTRY

After almost a years search for a replacement for original

drummer DNA the spot has finally been taken.

The new found member is Thomas Manell

who also play in the band Pronoid.

J.B (guitar/vocals) has this to say on the new member:

“It feels SO fucking awesome to have found a permanent

drummer with the same passion and fire Jimmy (guitar) and
I have for “the machine”.

Thomas is a schooled and there for more tech skilled drummer than

the original DNA but he do not lack the stomping and pounding

that makes the MMI sound so personal.

This is something we sure will have in mind when writing the

new album due to be released fall 2011.

On a personal level Thomas and I hit it of from the start.

He is a super nice dude and will be a great friend I believe.

He also have this contagious joy and energy when playing.

It will be hard toping the live review we got at 9/10 in Close-Up Magazine

but with this dude behind the drums I believe we got a chance, ha-ha.”

“It feels just great. It feels like if I found a home for my musical

talent with guys that are like minded in their way of creating music and performing it.

Yes, you read it right.

has got a second guitarist taking his place along side with J.B.
Jimmy Bergman (not related to J. Bergman) is a new member
of the machine (also guitaris in Road To Repent) and the sound he
brings with a second guitar on stage makes MMI sound even heavier than before.

Tonight will be his first live show with MAN.MACHINE.INDUSTRY and we
hope you´ll be there to check him out.

Tonights show will also host Misha Sedini of Lingua/Come Sleep
on bass guitar due to that our original bass player, Nail, couldnt make it.

Hope you are all right cuz we sure as hell are.

We have finally set a release date for the new video.

The release date is set to
FEBRUARY 13:th at 6 PM (18 00 Swedes).

The song we have chosen for this last video of the album

WHITE TRASH DEVIL IN A JESUS CHRIST POSE

is the track “KNUCKLE-DUSTER” which also hosts
a guest appearance by Swedish poet and novelist Lady M.

The lyrics for the song takes on the theme
“anti female abuse” and tells a story of an abused
women finally getting the courage to strike back but when in

doing so the violent man hits his head falling to the floor
and accidently dies. However, this becomes a freedom
for her but at the same time she has lost the love of her life…
forever ?!

The footage for the video was filmed at a photo studio in
Mariehamn (Finland) by Grant Amlén and the guest star
playing guitar in the video is Misha Sedini

of Lingua, Come Sleep and Rövfitta.

So, 2000fuckin11 is close at hand and
we hope yer in for a great year.

First of; as we said earlier in this blog, My Space has fucked up our

site over there big time and thats why we started this Blog instead.

However Randy, of TwoFrom8 Design in New York, who did the
lay out at our My Space site did a great job and its sad to see his
hard work been thrown away like they did :(-

NEW PROJECT IN MOTION !

We have got some things in motion in for 2011 but not much
we can go official on just yet but as some of you know me and
Nail got another project/band we´ve been writing songs
too for a while now, and 2011 is the year to release that
metal monster out of the cellar.

More on that in a few months. Exciting isn't it ? :)

Hey freaks.

Due to My Space has changed their layout so much and is some what slow to work with we have decided to start this Blog/site instead.

Also our Swedish blog we had going at Rockspot.se has been down for a while, again not our fault, and therefore from now on THIS will be the main Blog, only in English so we wont have to update two Blogs all the time.

However I (J.B) got a blog at www.crankitup.se called MMI-Bergman where I will blog on in Swedish for ya´ll who don't want to read the English version.

This Blogs lay out is NOT finished but will be real soon.
